We're hiring Dispatchers who are on the front line of a local logistics company. This position is responsible for the day-to-day communications with drivers to ensure everything is done to achieve the goal of 100% OTD.
Responsibilities
- This position dispatches drivers to assure that all pickups and drops happen in a timely, safe and efficient manner.
- Finding drivers using a driver pool to get routes booked by drivers
- Answer incoming customer inquiries by phone and email
- Make outgoing calls to find drivers
- Provide the best support experience to our Delivery Partners
- Collaborate with our Driver Leads, Driver Coordinators, Team Leads, dispatch managers, and Account Representatives to ensure we are upholding our standards of delivery excellence
- Monitor and review routes and interact with drivers as necessary to meet and exceed client expectations
- Communicate specific instructions to drivers in the field regarding pick-ups and drop-offs
- Monitor and respond to client inquiries via Slack and email
- Route Scanning
- Answering Emails in a timely manner
- Answering drivers through Messenger (Our Messaging service used to communicate to driver)
- Maintaining a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
- Responding promptly to customer inquiries.
- Communicating with customers through various channels text, email, phone calls
- Acknowledging and resolving customer and client complaints.
- Keeping records of customer interactions, transactions, comments and complaints.
- Communicating and coordinating with Dispatchers, Driver Leads, Team Leads, Dispatch managers as necessary.
- Providing feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years related experience required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Stand, walk, sit at a desk, work on a computer, climb, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- May occasionally move or lift up to 60 pounds at times.
Typical hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
