**SCHEDULE INFORMATION - THIS IS NOT A 7 DAY A WEEK POSITION**
-This position works on a 4-day per week rotating schedule. On Day-1 orientation, Whole Foods will provide you with a schedule to follow. The Bluecrew schedule reflects 7 days so you will be able to record your hours on scheduled days.

MUST have experience operating a Ride-on Electric Pallet Jack, preferably in a distribution center setting. Voice tech picking experience preferred.We are looking for experienced Distribution Center Selectors for our cold storage facility. Will load pallet jacks, package and wrap product, and/or build pallets. Record weight or counts of products to ensure accurate billing. Ride-on EPJ experience required, but you will not operate a forklift. Warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient customer service.
• Abide by all safety regulations set forth by OSHA and Facilities.
• Perform order picking as scheduled or assigned.
• Arrive to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work; work all scheduled shifts and attend required trainings and meetings.
• Comply with all applicable state health and safety codes.
• Maintain clean and sanitary operating environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Team Leader, Associate Team Leader, Supervisor, or Facility Leadership.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Prior experience operating a Ride-on Electric Pallet Jack (required)
• Thorough knowledge of natural foods industry and Whole Foods Market quality goals•
• Responsible for ensuring that all vendor organic certifications are on hand and current• Consistently communicate and model Whole Foods Market vision and standards
• Communicate and maintain employee safety and security standards
• Knowledge of all relevant Whole Foods Market policies and standards
• Outstanding verbal and written communicator
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Ability to work well with others, self-motivated and capable of working independently with little supervision. Able to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the Distribution Center, including nights, weekends and holidays as required
  

Important Notes

• Temp-to-Hire position for those interested in full-time, long-term employment. Direct hire not guaranteed, based on performance during first 90 days.
• Cold storage facility (34 degrees) - dress warmly
• Training: This job begins with 4 days of training.
• Shift: 10am to Finish (end time varies daily by job site needs)
• Schedule: MUST be available to work a flexible schedule. Days scheduled will change every week. Schedule currently reflected on Bluecrew is NOT the schedule you will stay on.
• For everyone's health and safety, temperature checks will be required at the start of every shift. If you exhibit a temperature or symptoms consistent with COVID-19, you may be asked to go home. PPE will be provided.
