This is a general warehouse pick & pack position that includes picking and packing orders as well as light assembly. This is not a physically strenuous job, but you must be prepared to work on your feet for the entire shift. This position is ideal for people with midday/daytime availability looking to pick up extra money on periodic shifts that can vary week by week as needed.
Responsibilities
- Process, package and ship orders
- Organize stock and maintain inventory
- Inspect products for defects and damages
- Examine in coming and outgoing shipments
- Organize warehouse space
- Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately
- Check, verify and fill customer invoices
- Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations
- Keep warehouse clean and organized
Requirements
- Ability to lift or move heavy products
- Must be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, stand, sit and reach
- Working on your feet at a fast pace for the entirety of the shift
- Comfortable working in an environment where there are forklifts, machinery, large trucks, and other standard or sub-standard warehouse equipment
