Responsibilities:

  • Take food and beverage orders and efficiently deliver items to dining room guests
  • Promptly and warmly greet guests as they arrive in the dining room
  • Maintain safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • Follow up periodically to assist with any additional needs or requests
  • Demonstrate complete understanding of menu items ingredients
  • Advise guests on appropriate combinations of food and drinks when requested, and accomodates reasonable requests and notes guests preferences
  • Demonstrate knowledge of specialized diets and allergens as needed
  • Communicate directly with the back of the house staff to ensure orders are delivered correctly
  • Able to remain flexible when communicating with guests and staff
  • Collect tickets and follow proper cash handling procedures
