Calling all foodies. Looking to start your career in the culinary world? Here’s your opportunity! We're hiring Cooks to help prepare delicious meals that are sure to satisfy our customers' cravings. We're seeking motivated & forward-thinking individuals who are ALWAYS on time, pay attention to detail, and can easily switch gears.
Responsibilities:
- Follow prep lists created by chefs
- Preparing food for service (chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
- Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards
- Answer, report, and follow executive or sous chef's instructions
- Clean and sanitize cooking surfaces and take care of leftover food
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Requirements:
- Proven experience
- Experience in using cutting tools, cookware, and bakeware
- Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
- Stand or walk for long hours
- Must be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach
