Responsibilities
- Secure and protects all items against damage by wrapping dishes and fragile items in packing material and packs them into containers
- Pack general household items (books, clothes, etc)
- Wrap furniture, appliances and any non-cratable items with blankets to prevent damage
- Record information on the inventory list of all items packed; labels cartons and containers
- Unpack and place items in appropriate locations according to customers direction
- Assist in inventory control by ensuring that no un-used material is left behind or missing
- Any other duties assigned
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills and positive “can do” attitude
- Must be detail-oriented
- Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs. unassisted and up to 100 lbs. assisted throughout the workday
