Line Cook Assignment Summary: You will prepare high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules. Your assignment will also include serving meals or preparing meals for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty. If you will get to taste all prepared food items; a bonus for most but if you have dietary restrictions another role may work better for you.
Responsibilities:
- Uses established ticket collection procedures during service
- Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat
- Clean up station and take care of leftover food
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
- Assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting as required
- Other duties as assigned
