Responsibilities
- Sort and ship various items backhauled from stores efficiently and safely
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders and leadership
- Follow department procedures for sorting, storing and shipping items
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Ability to use tools, equipment, and machinery including but not limited to sit down forklifts, balers and pallet jacks
- Ability to work in an environment exposed to extreme temperatures
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including overnights, days, weekends and holidays as needed
- Strong work ethic and integrity
- Readiness to follow direction
- Capacity to work independently
- High energy and enthusiastic about core values and company philosophy
- Stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Bend and stoop to grasp objects. Bend and twist neck and waist, reach above and below shoulders and squat
- Bend and lift items, not to exceed 80 pounds
- Repetitive use of hands for grasping, pushing, pulling
