Receiver will perform all functions of inbound receiving like receiving, inspecting, logging and placing in storage areas and carts all products delivered.

Responsibilities
- Unloads truck shipments to be counted, recorded in computer system and staged for stocking departments and storage.
- Operates powered electric pallet jack/forklift in accordance with OSHA and company regulations to unload and move products.
- Inspects arriving product for compliance with quality standards.
- Completes accurate count and ensures order accuracy; edits count in receiving system to update accuracy of product count.
- Receives and affixes sticker based labels to product for labeling record.
- Restacks product as needed for storage and staging of product to be stocked.
- Clears receiving areas of product, recyclable materials and trash.
- Loads all recyclable materials and other products to be shipped on to truck.
- Completes all documentation of items to be shipped.
- Maintains a safe, clean and orderly work environment.
- Abide by all safety regulations set forth by OSHA and Facilities.
- Strictly adhere to inbound door assignment.
- Verify receiving common carrier documentation, driver check in.
- Unload common carrier trucks- cross dock.
- Break down product onto separate pallets.
- Tag pallets for put away process.
- Running product to assigned aisles.
- Comply with all applicable federal and state health and safety codes.
- Attend all team and facility meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities required:
- Entry level position; some warehouse experience preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to operate all necessary equipment.
- Meets all customer service expectations and standards in all interactions with customers, vendors and fellow team members.
- Ability to complete all tasks in a thorough, accurate and timely manner.
- Working understanding of and compliance with all company quality goals, and thorough product knowledge.
- Demonstrates responsibility and accountability in recognizing and accomplishing all tasks where there is a direct job responsibility.
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in approach with all paperwork.
- Proper use of which may include but not limited to, knives, personal protective equipment, forklift, pallet jacks, hand trucks, six wheel carts, baler (must be 18 years of age or older) and all other equipment used during preparation and clean up within department and facility.
- Able to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the facility, including nights, weekends and holidays as required.
Essential working conditions:
- Standing and walking for extended periods of time, up to 6-8 hours.
- Unassisted heavy lifting (minimum of 50 lbs.)
- Assisted heavy lifting and pulling (100 lbs. maximum)
- Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling.
- Requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting and reaching.
- Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals.
- Exposure to temperatures: <32 degrees Fahrenheit (freezing), 32-40 degrees Fahrenheit (refrigerators), >90 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Wet and dry conditions.
- Use of box cutters.
- Use of electric pallet jacks or other heavy machinery. (Must be 18 years of age or older)
- Use of ladders.
- Iteration of duties.
