Summary: This position is in support of our nonprofit organization’s donations for its thrift shops and in support of its vision programs. Drives company-owned Sprinter van to pick-up donations in Maryland, Virginia, and DC. Works with staff member to move large furniture items in the shops (along with a staff member).
Qualifications
- 6+ months of experience in a delivery driver role and have a valid driver’s license
- Mastery of Google Maps to ensure an on-time delivery experience for each customer
- Ability to read and understand delivery instructions
About You
- Highly organized and strong attention to detail
- Ability to problem-solve and think on your feet (A.K.A. a mental juggler)
- You excel at independent, unsupervised work
Physical Requirements
- Frequent driving
- Exposure to all types of weather conditions
- Ability to walk, bend, squat, climb, reach, and kneel
- Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds
